El Salvador Las Isabellas - Natural Process - Green Coffee Beans
Details
Our Regional Series El Salvador Las Isabellas Natural Processed coffee is sourced from a farm located near the town of Apaneca within the department of Ahuachapan, El Salvador. The farm is located in an ideal micro-climate for coffee cultivation because of its location in the Apaneca/Ilametepec mountain range, one of the most prestigious areas of coffee cultivation in the country.
Las Isabellas is firmly committed to educating the children living near the farm. At the beginning of each school year, Las Isabellas distributes 200 backpacks filled with school supplies. The farm also supports the local schools by paying a teacher’s salary, paying for the school’s water supply, and assisting teachers with books and supplies. Las Isabellas is currently partnering with the city of Apaneca to build a potable water system in a neighboring community called Monte Sagrado.
The cupping notes for these beans are tart cherry, red wine, and berry.
Our Regional Series are coffees from the most famous and well-regarded coffee-growing regions from around the world. These coffees highlight the typical flavors, aromas, and essential characteristics of the particular region and/or sub regions.
