Cooling plates are perfect in low volume applications where space is an issue. If your draft box is for backyard parties, camping trips, or you always also ice your kegs, plates are the perfect choice. Plates are also great because they take up very little space allowing you to also store cans, bottles, or even food in your cooler as well. If you want to serve beer at a festival or wedding where the beer might be constantly flowing, coils are the better choice.
