Omega Yeast OYL401 Sundew Ale
Details
The perfect yeast to emphasize today's modern fruit-forward hops, Sundew will lend notes of ripe strawberry, passion fruit, pear, and stone fruit. Inspired by its parental strain's fruit esters, Omega developed Sundew from a Belgian yeast strain but dropped the phenolic character. Sundew is non-phenolic and incapable of producing the spicy clove flavors that were previously competing with its pure, juicy red-fruit bouquet.
Please Note: For best results we Always recommend ordering an Ice Pack with your liquid yeast. Ice Packs can be found below in the "You Might Also Like" section.
Available only in the US—while we would love to make these strains available internationally, many countries' regulations do not yet allow the sale of organisms developed using modern gene-editing, regardless of the type of modification introduced by the technique.
